Modular Unit Supply & Installation – Sisk Project, Adare, Co. Limerick

Modspace partnered with Sisk to deliver a full-cycle modular solution in Adare, Co. Limerick. The project involved off-site assembly, on-site installation, and complete internal fit-out of modular units, tailored to meet the client’s operational needs.

By managing the process end-to-end — from flat-pack assembly in our dedicated yard to final on-site delivery — Modspace ensured efficiency, quality control, and minimal disruption to site operations.

 

Project Scope & Delivery

Phase 1 – Off-Site Assembly

  • Modular units were assembled in Modspace’s dedicated yard prior to delivery.

  • The flat-pack system enabled enhanced quality control and layout customization.

  • This phase ensured compliance with the client’s configuration while reducing on-site disruption.

Phase 2 – On-Site Installation

  • Following quality checks, units were transported to Adare.

  • Installation was carried out in close coordination with Sisk, ensuring seamless delivery and minimal impact on site activities.

Phase 3 – Internal Fit-Out

  • Interior layouts were designed to meet operational needs.

  • Spaces included open-plan offices, private offices, meeting rooms, canteens, drying rooms, toilets, and internal stairs.

  • The high-quality finishes highlighted Modspace’s ability to provide turnkey modular solutions.

Portlaoise Community College Modular Expansion

In response to the growing demand for school places in Portlaoise, ABM Contractors Ltd, in partnership with Modspace, delivered a bespoke two-storey modular building for Portlaoise Community College. The project added much-needed educational space, providing four mainstream classrooms, an Engineering room, a Science room, and a Science prep room — all within a total floor area of 970 sq.m.

Project Scope & Delivery

As Main Contractor, Designer, and Project Manager, ABM Contractors led the design-and-build delivery model, ensuring a seamless and efficient construction process.

Key project features:

  • 80% off-site prefabrication, allowing for rapid on-site assembly and minimal disruption to the school’s operations.

  • Bespoke design tailored to educational needs, incorporating modern classrooms and specialist STEM facilities.

  • Full site works package, including water main, foul/storm drainage, gas connection, landscaping, boundary fencing, and a fully compliant access ramp.

Modspace was engaged to deliver a comprehensive modular accommodation solution for Harold’s Cross ETSS & Campus. The project involved off-site assembly, on-site installation, and complete internal fit-out of modular units designed to provide modern, flexible learning and teaching spaces.
